JamiiNest Platform Terms of Use

By creating a JamiiNest account, accessing the platform, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use JamiiNest.

1. About JamiiNest

JamiiNest is a digital platform that helps savings groups, investment clubs, and similar communities coordinate contributions, loans, and related financial activities. JamiiNest provides software tools only and does not itself operate, manage, or guarantee any user groups.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be legally able to enter into contracts in your country of residence.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating your account.
• You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly of any suspected misuse.

3. Relationship with Groups and Group Policies

Groups on JamiiNest (such as savings groups or investment clubs) are created and managed by independent administrators. Each group may publish its own community policy or rules, which are separate from these platform Terms.

• JamiiNest is not a party to any agreement between you and a group or between group members.
• Group-specific policies are created and controlled by group admins. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with any group policy before participating.
• If there is a conflict between a group policy and these Terms, these platform Terms of Use will govern your relationship with JamiiNest, while group policies govern your relationship with that group.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use JamiiNest to:

• Engage in fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful financial activity.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or groups.
• Upload or share content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes others' rights.
• Interfere with the normal operation or security of the platform.

5. Payments and Financial Decisions

• JamiiNest does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice. Any financial decisions you make using JamiiNest are your own responsibility.
• Fees, contribution schedules, and loan terms are determined by each group, not by JamiiNest.
• You are responsible for understanding and complying with any fees or obligations agreed within your group.

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using JamiiNest, you acknowledge that we will process your information as described there.

7. Intellectual Property

We may suspend or terminate your access to JamiiNest if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the platform, or engaged in unlawful activity. You may stop using JamiiNest at any time by closing your account or ceasing use of the services.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• JamiiNest is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• We do not guarantee the performance, solvency, or behavior of any group or its members.
• To the extent permitted by law, JamiiNest will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may also provide additional notice within the app.

Your continued use of JamiiNest after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
